This site has a TERRIBLE return policy. I submitted my order and then changed my mind 10 minutes later wanting to order a different costume from their website and they would not process the return saying that all sales are final after 10/25 (today). Absolutely ridiculous. Do not order from this site.

Should have read reviews before ordering! Horrible! Ordered 3 costumes from them and when package arrived only one was in the box with a bunch of packaging paper. They say "I dont know what to say when the box left this facility it was the correct weight for all three costumes" Right did u count in all the paper? I doubt a United States Postal Service employee opened the box to take two costumes out. Anyway refused to refund. said I was giving bad reviews then, they said go ahead. Called the post office to let them know that they are blaming them for the missing costumes in my unopened package. and now they are investigating the matter.

Costume Hub is the WORST company to deal with for any sort of customer service!! I ordered 2 costumes on  Oct 6th to be shipped to me by Oct 21. One arrived last Wednesday but then they emailed me on Friday (Oct 15th) stating that they couldn’t find the costume in their inventory and had to cancel my order. So now I have to order another costume but because they only told me on FRIDAY a week and a half after I ordered the costume, I have to pay EXPEDITED shipping, which is almost $30 and more than double what I paid for shipping initially, to get to me before Halloween! They will not take any responsibility in rectifying this situation at ALL. I did my part by ordering way in advance, they guaranteed me of a date and then cancelled my order because of THEIR mistake in tracking inventory.

They expect me to pay for expedited shipping on a new order because of their mistake and do not even consider that I had ordered the costume well in advance and didn’t receive it due a mistake on their part. How is that my fault??I told them that I would buy another costume but that I feel that they should honour their promise of getting my costume to me for the date they promised. They have refused though, because that would mean that they would have to pay for the expedited shipping.

I feel that they should pay for the shipping (or even the difference between what I paid for shipping on Oct 6th and what it is costing me now because of their error) to guarantee me the date that they initially gave me. Their shipping guarantee states that “For Standard and Express shipping we guarantee the delivery date, or your shipping costs are on us”. They were unable to get me costume by the date they guaranteed so why shouldn’t they have to pay for the shipping?? Their customer satisfaction guarantee and shipping promises are a bunch of BS. Horrible, horrible company.

I agree with these comments. I ordered a baby costume and instead was given a boys costume in medium. I emailed them the night that I received the costume, and twice since then. The site says that they often reply back to emails within the hour and at least 24 hours... it has been longer than that. Also, the live chat option is always off... so it is probably non-existant. Also, since I live outside the US I can't get through on the customer service line. So I can't call, and no one is reponding to my emails. It looks like I am not going to have a costume for my baby. I wish I had ordered from another site. First and last experience with CostumeHub. Do not order from this company. It is a sham.

This site is terrible. I obtained a Groupon discount and decided to buy a costume and accesories there, and placed my order early in the morning of Oct. 21, selecting next day shipping. I waited until Saturday and called them to find out they don't work weekends! So I sent them a message through their website... then another... then two or three more. Plus one more from my email. I called them Monday and Tuesday and left a voice message because they never picked up. It turns out my package was delivered late during Monday to the administration office so I didn't see it until Tuesday, and by that time I had already bought another costume. I had been freaking out because their online tracker indicated that my order had not been shipped. Needless to say, I didn't want anything from them anymore because of the horrible customer service, but sadly I opened the package because it did not say that it was from CostumeHub! The sad part is that they also sent me only two of the three items that I ordered.

I tried to initiate a return through the website (which, to this day, still shows the order as "to be shipped") and it wouldn't let me because it registered that 14 days had passed (!). I tried to contact them about the return and I didn't hear from them until today. Their excuse? Their website shows that my order was placed at 7 pm, not 10 am like my order confirmation clearly states. They never addressed their complete lack of communication. I don't know how the issue will be resolved but my experience thus far is enough to completely warn people against this company.

Next time, I'll stick to Amazon. I got the same costume there for way less.

Ordered a costume for my daughter for a school play. Paid extra for quicker shipping and it did come in a timely manner. Unfortunately, it wasn't the costume I ordered. I called Customer Service - had to call numerous times to get a live person - and felt like she thought I was lying about it. She said I could send it back and she would 'look at it.' Whatever...I know what I ordered and know what I got! Anyway, I returned it and 3 weeks later am still trying to get a refund. Talked to them last week (8/12) and they said it would be credited to my account by the end of the day and here it is 8/16 and stil no credit. Can't get anybody on the phone and an email went unanswered too. I guess if you get what you ordered, all is OK...but if something is wrong, good luck!
